Hi, this is  Lloyd Gan and welcome to The Lab Ratz. I am pleased to have found a new home here in this virtual world and I look forward to bringing you new adventures online and offline!

My Story This Far ….

Way before The Lab Ratz, I started out my active teenage years in the field of Public Speaking, Theater, Arts, Fashion, Writing, Performing Arts, Pure Inquisitiveness (taking stuff apart and wondering how to put it back) with a whole slew of hobbies.

With my diverse interests, I opted for the Hospitality Trade as I felt this would be the best career where I could put my interests to good use.

Now after 18 years in the Hospitality industry, I am hoping to return to my first love of doing creative works.

I originally established The Lab Ratz as a restaurant but after talking to a lot of my friends and much soul searching, I decided to use The Lab Ratz as a tool to empower people with an online presence, sometime in 2008. Yes, I am relatively new to this….

This is partly because I had realized that there are many people who were caught in between the information age, neither here nor there, just like me.  I was a little lucky, my last two projects actually gave me some spare time. So I began to ’self study’ the use of the Internet as a tool to help me with my works in the Hospitality Industry.

Coupled with my insatiable appetite for information, I began using more and more online tools, gaining confidence as I went along, and decided to help a few friends with some online projects as well as organizing some offline projects. Hence The Lab Ratz begun.

The Lab Ratz in essence, likes to help friends (no there is no money involved, but I ended up spending my own monies, including a virtual office!) who are toying  with the idea of having a presence online, as I have taken on a new challenge in the area of Hospitality at the end of 2009.
